Hidden Parallels è una serie di immagini fotografiche astratte che cerca di rappresentare la sensazione di confusione e angoscia al risveglio da un brutto sogno. Questo è un tentativo, molto probabilmente impossibile, di creare una finestra sull’inconscio - un luogo in cui le emozioni, desideri e ricordi si uniscono per influenzare la mente conscia. Queste immagini ritraggono una figura solitaria, dall’aspetto quasi fantasmatico, disturbando inesorabilmente la possibilità di un riposo armonioso.

Hidden Parallels is an ongoing series of abstract photographic images that seeks to represent the feeling of confusion and angst when waking up from a bad dream. This is an attempt, and most probably an impossible one, to comprehend that window into the unconscious – a place where feelings, desires and memories come together to influence the conscious mind. These images por- tray a lonesome figure, almost ghost-like in appearance, that returns relentlessly disturbing the possibility of harmonious rest.
